The Gritfiction blog has been having a look at this very website... take a look at their thoughts here. 04.12.2011 - Very short fiction... I've added a selection of 50 and 100 word stories to the site as I thought it would be nice to collect the various little vignettes I've done in one place - go here to check them out! 04.12.2011 - "Off The Record" news... Last week I did a Q&A with fellow writer Vic Watson on her excellent fiction blog... and on Thursday Nov 19th I was on BBC Radio Humberside with fellow Hull writers Nick Quantrill and Darren Sant, promoting the forthcoming anthology "Off The Record"... 20.11.2011 - "Exposure" published on A Twist Of Noir 11.11.2010 - "Tracks" My new short story "Exposure" - which I'm secretly rather proud of - is now up on the excellent A Twist Of Noir website... please do go and have a read and don't forget to leave a comment! 18.11.2011 - Off The Record e-anthology... all for a good cause too! My new short story "Superstition" is to be included in the forthcoming anthology Off The Record... published exclusively on Kindle (plus smartphone and PC). All profits are going to charity - UPDATE - mooted release date is 30/11/11 with proceeds going to literacy charities in the UK and US - a fine cause. Please support it! 27.10.2011 - New (very) short story published nationally today! My 100-word short story "Blame" is in the November issue of Reader's Digest, and it's out today! Available from high street newsagents I'm told, and also online of course. UPDATE - find me on page 37... 12.10.2011 - "Wild Things" published on TKnC... My new short story "Wild Things" - a rare foray into the horror genre - is now up at the genuinely brilliant Thrillers, Killers n Chillers website - go check it out! 08.10.2011 - "Brit Grit 2" e-anthology My new short story "A Minimum Of Reason" is to be included in the forthcoming ebook, "Brit Grit 2", a collection of shorts edited by Paul D Brazill. More news on release dates etc, as and when... 11.08.2011 - Published in... Reader's Digest?! Some time ago I entered a 100-word story competition run by the Reader's Digest. I'm delighted to say I've just heard my entry "Blame" has been "specially commended" and will be published in the November 2011 issue. Nice! 10.08.2011 - "The E-pocalypse" now out in print and on Kindle... The Pill Hill Press anthology "The E-pocalypse: Emails At The End", featuring "Firestorm", co-written by myself and Darren Sant, is OUT NOW! My 50-word vignette "Night Crawler" is to be included in a forthcoming noir special to be published by print magazine Blink Ink. More news on publication dates and how to buy, when I know it. UPDATE - now out! 11.06.2011 - "Radgepacket" on Kindle! "Radgepacket - Tales From The Inner Cities", the Byker Books anthology which includes my short story "Choked", is now available on Kindle! My short story "On Solitude" is now online at the genuinely excellent Pulp Metal Magazine. 18.05.2011 - New co-written short story to be published! My short story "Firestorm" - co-written with my good pal Darren Sant - is to be published in the forthcoming anthology "The E-pocalypse" (Pill Hill Press). Pill HIll are a US publisher but the book will be available in the UK via the net. More news on timeframe etc as we get it... 12.05.2011 - EXCLUSIVE new fiction I've uploaded a brand new, exclusive flash fiction short which won't appear anywhere else - you can only read it here!
